The newly-built butadiene plant has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons, which is a new benefit growth point for Yangzi Petrochemical. The project was formally started on March 20, 2007 and completed on March 20, 2008. After the equipment was handed over, the olefin plant took 3 sets of butadiene to drive as the goal, mobilized from top to bottom, and made concerted efforts to take the decisive battle to win the battle. It actively devoted itself to the preparation work of the drive and made every effort to ensure the success of the drive. A butadiene trial lead group was set up in the factory to strictly approve the process, equipment, and system test program, and to inspect the implementation of various tasks such as personnel and materials. The plant has concentrated on 20 years of experience in production and operation of equipments, and detailedly defined the driving control points for new butadiene equipment, and further optimized and refined the driving network arrangement. At the same time, according to the progress of the project, the rolling optimization is carried out in a timely manner. Under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, production preparation work and engineering tailing work are interspersed. On the one hand, the olefin plant classifies and sorts out nearly 200 problems found in the “three inspections and four determinations†and coordinates relevant units to concentrate human and material resources for rectification. On the other hand, the plant arranges technical backbones to intervene in the preparation of new butadiene production. It is familiar with the processes in the equipment sector and the supporting conditions for public works. It actively organizes the examination and approval of production preparation programs, compressor testing, equipment purging, chemical cleaning, and material preparation. And other work. At the same time, the plant selected 24 new butadiene assembly operators from the original installations, and conducted a series of training and induction examinations for the new installation personnel. The assessment results were included in the personal technical files as the basis for taking on-site evidence.
On the afternoon of April 15, the device was confirmed by driving inside the factory. At 9:00 am on the 16th, it was confirmed by the company's drive. At this point, the three sets of butadiene had the full driving conditions. At 10:18, Jiang Yong, the director of the olefin plant, issued a driving order and three butadiene units were officially put into operation.
